Professional
Engineer Since
the firm’s beginning in 1987, BASIN & RANGE has become one of
the leaders in providing environmental consulting services in
Arizona. BASIN &
RANGE’s professionals and sub-consultants have a variety of
technical skills and disciplines, including hydrology, geology
engineering, soil science, chemistry, and general environmental
sciences. The
successful candidate for this position would be responsible for the
following duties at BASIN & RANGE: project management,
environmental remediation system design and permitting, oversight of
operations and maintenance activities, remediation progress
reporting, waste profiling and disposal, proposal writing, and
preparation of work plans. Candidates
must be strong team players who can provide guidance and mentoring
to other engineering associates. The candidate must demonstrate that she or he has experience with the remediation of pesticide-affected soils, especially through the use of biologically-mediated chemical degradation and thermal desorption. Candidates
must demonstrate job-related knowledge regarding the Resource
Conservation and Recovery Act, land disposal regulations, U.S. Department of
Transportation hazardous substances shipping regulations, and the
Clean Air Act.
Candidates must have extensive experience coordinating waste
profiles and shipments with waste management service providers in
Arizona and the United States. Candidate
must be a professional environmental, chemical, or civil engineer with a license to
practice in Arizona. 40-hour
OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations Training certification is required. Benefits
